Reading:  Students will learn about solving problems by talking things out. 
Spelling: Students will review oy, oi words
Math: Students will learn how to use a hundred chart to compare numbers and read data from a chart. 
Grammar: Students will learn about possessive nouns and adjectives
Science: Students will learn about things that happen at night; job, nocturnal animals, etc. 
Writing: Students will finish their letters to Santa.

This section will be dedicated to what we are learning each week.  Please note that some weeks will have a little more information than others.


Reading:  Students will review the short vowel sounds (CVC words)
Spelling: Students will review the diagraphs /ch/ and /sh/
Math: Students will review basic addition and subtraction sentences
Grammar: Students will review nouns and verbs
Science: Students will learn about new and exciting inventions.
