Please also make sure your child is reading nightly so that they can pass off 2 SWRL books or 1 AR book each week.<br /><strong>Spelling:</strong> This week we will review short a words using phonics skill 2.<br /><strong>English: </strong> This week we will continue to work on irregular verbs: are, is, was, were, be, and am. Our writing project this week will be, "If I had 100.00 dollars.<br /><strong>Math</strong>: This week will learn to count by 2's, 5's, and 10's. We will also make two digit numbers by grouping into different types of tens. Example 46 can be made by 4 tens and 6 ones or 2 tens and 26 ones.
